Chocolate Lolly Maker Review

I’m always looking for new ways to keep the kids entertained, particularly during the school holidays. While my son would rather spend time on his iPad, my daughter is always looking for something to do. She loves making things: arts, crafts, baked goods, she’s not fussed. So long as she can get stuck in, she’s happy. We were recently sent the Chocolate Lolly Maker from John Adams, and it looked liked something she’d love. As the name suggests, the Chocolate Lolly Maker is a kit for making your own chocolate lollies. Inside the box you receive: Chocolate melter & utensils […]

HayMax Review – Drug Free Allergy Relief

Anyone who knows me will know I’ve morphed in to a bit of a cat lady recently. I love cats, and so does my daughter Caitlin. ┬áTogether I guess you could say we are cat mad, and if we got our own way we would have a house full of little fur babies. There is one major problem though, my husband and my son both have cat allergies. Worried about them taking antihistamines every day, we’ve recently been trying HayMax balms, which are a drug free alternative allergy relief. Since getting the cats two years ago, my husband and son […]

Shoe Zone Review – Summer Sandals

I love summer. It’s lovely to finally get a bit of sun on my legs, to give my toes a bit of freedom after months of wearing winter boots. Well, if the British weather allows it, of course. Call me a cliche, but I love getting new shoes, so when I was offered the chance to try out a pair of shoes from Shoe Zone, I was so excited! I’ve always been a fan of Shoe Zone. They sell the latest styles at a fraction of the price, which is great news for shoe lovers like me. For the price […]

National Insect Week with Learning Resources – Review

It is National Insect Week from the 20th to the 26th of June. I’ve always been afraid of creepy crawlies, and it’s something I didn’t want my children to learn from me. I want them to be curious about the insect world, not afraid of it!  To celebrate National Insect Week, the wonderful people over at Learning Resources sent me a bug hunting package, so that we could get out and explore the wonderful world of insects in time for the event. In the package, there were four items from the Geo Safari Jr range, including the Night Owl Bright […]

Teapigs Matcha Tea Review – Matcha May

In my house there is a running argument over the better drink, tea or coffee. I’m a big coffee drinker, I have been since I got my first sip of a cappuccino when I was about 14. My husband, like almost everyone in Northern Ireland, is a massive tea drinker. When we first moved to Northern Ireland my husband told me I would have to become a tea drinker, because that was just the way over here. I did try, but I just didn’t enjoy it much. I drink plenty of coffee each day. I’m lucky to work in an […]
