The theme for this weeks The Gallery is Boys. In my case, it’s boy. My Boy… or my wee man as I like to call him. Don’t get me wrong, I have two main men in my life. Both of them share my love, and they also share the same name. Yes, my husband and my wee man are both Neil, it’s why I always mention my hubby on here as just ‘hubby’ because things can get pretty confusing! Anyway, as I was saying, I have two boys in my life, and I would love to share a collection of […]
I take a lot of photos, quite often of not much at all. Some evenings, when the kids are in bed, I review the new additions on my camera, and wonder ‘why did I take a photo of that?’. I never delete them though, and it’s funny because those pictures can bring back memories of totally normal, and probably otherwise forgotten days. On this particular day, we had taken a trip to Newry to go to B&Q. It was one of those days when the heat was just too much to bear, one of those hot and sticky days, when […]
Here we are at the end of December, Christmas is well and truly over for another year. We have had a fantastic December. The festive build up was particularly special this year with a little elf spreading about some of her Christmas cheer. I haven’t been online much this month as I sinply couldn’t find the time, especially in the last few weeks as we’ve had family visiting, but I couldn’t let Christmas pass by without a little write-up. My mam was visiting from England over the Christmas week. It was nice for the kids to have their nana pat […]
I tried to capture as many natural shots as I could on Christmas day, and I love these photos of the kids getting stuck in to their Christmas dinner. Our Christmas dinner was absolutely lush this year and everyone was well and truly stuffed. Joining in with The B & W Photography Project over at PODcast, head over for more black & white goodness.
I don’t often do black and white photos but have been following the Black & White Photography Project for a little while now and have been mesmerised by some of the beautiful B&W shots. I got my new camera this week which has really inspired me, and it felt like the perfect week to join in. I’ve photographed Dundrum Castle so many times in the past, but seeing it in black & white totally changes it. Linking up with The Black & White Photography Project over at PODcast. Head over for some more B&W loveliness.
