A Summer BBQ with Tesco Northern Ireland

You just can’t beat a BBQ in the summer time. You know when it’s a warm day and you step outside, and the smell of smoke hangs in the air? That is the smell of summer for me. You can’t help but crave a bbq when you smell that! I had one of those moment a couple of week ago, and I’ve been craving a bbq ever since. An Anniversary Celebration

On Wednesday my husband and I celebrated our four year wedding anniversary. It certainly doesn’t feel like four years ago, in fact I was convinced we had only been married three years. That time of year has rolled around again, yes, it’s the start of the school term. Around the country kids and parents everywhere feel a mixture of emotions, and intense mix of anxiety and excitement. It feels like only yesterday we were feeling those emotions for the first time, when Neil had his first day at school, it’s hard to believe that it was a whole year ago. His first year whizzed by so fast, and here we are in September ready to start the school routine again. Only this year, things are a bit different. This year, Caitlin is […]

Jumping in Muddy Puddles

If you allowed the rain to dictate your summer activities, you would be spending an awful lot of time indoors. It has rained a lot recently, but I didn’t want to let that dampen our spirits. I love to get out and about with the kids, and I wasn’t going to let a bit of rain stop us, so after a particularly heavy spell of rain last week we decided to channel our inner Peppa Pig with some muddy puddle jumping. So after getting dressed up in our wellies and raincoats, (please don’t ask why I thought a white raincoat […]
