Crying Over Gilmore Girls #LittleLoves

Wow, this is my first post in June. I can’t believe I’m saying that, can you bloody believe it’s June? Cray! We’ve had a good week this week, with lots of things going on. It hasn’t been half term for us, as the schools here break up for summer in four weeks. I’ve been watching social media with some mild envy as everyone seems to be away somewhere nice. Anyway, enough of my jealousy, on to what we’ve been loving this week. Read This week I finally finished reading The Help. I started reading it in March, so it’s taken me a […]

Getting a Good Night’s Sleep

A good night’s sleep is something I crave, all of the time. I love my bed. I love snuggling up under my duvet, and could happily spend the whole day in bed if given the chance. Beauty and the Beast & Black Lipstick #LittleLoves

This week has been a strange one, tainted by the awful events in Westminster on Wednesday. I’ve finished the week just feeling a bit off, really. I’m certainly not going to let that one awful event define the week though, because there have been plenty of lovely things happening to put a […]

Are You Messy? Blame Your Zodiac Sign!

*This is a collaboration I’m not going to lie, I’m a hot mess. I don’t think I’ve ever truly been organised in my life. Sure, I’ve tried, and sometimes succeeded at having some kind of order to my life: but when things look calm on the surface, my legs are going mad under the water trying to keep my afloat. What I’m saying is, when I look like I’ve got things under control, all is not as it seems. Today, for example: My desk looks pretty tidy, but open one of my drawers and you’ll find empty wrappers and other […]

Beating the January Blues

As much as we would like to ignore it, the holidays are over. The decorations and trees are packed away for another year, and the long winter nights seem gloomy without the spark of twinkle lights and general festivity in the streets. With cold temperatures and the lack of sunlight to keep us awake, it is vital to come up with indoor activities to keep us thriving during the dark winter nights, which entice us to hibernate. I’ve taken the guesswork out of indoor winter activities to keep you and your family thriving throughout January – read on if […]
