A lovely winter treat unless it was a power cut like us last week? #MySundayPhoto

    • Reply Lauren February 14, 2016 at 9:50 am

Not a power cut, although I would like just a short power cut so we can gather round the fire for a while haha!

  • Reply Tracey Williams February 14, 2016 at 12:21 am

You can’t beat a roaring fire especially when you have marshmallows. I hope you had hot chocolate too #mysundayphoto

    • Reply Lauren February 14, 2016 at 9:49 am

On this occasion we didn’t, we used the mallows to make s’mores (which were equally tasty)

  • Reply Kim Carberry February 14, 2016 at 12:22 am

Ohhh! That looks so warm and cosy….I would love an open fire but I don’t think our landlord would agree to it. hehehe x

    • Reply Lauren February 14, 2016 at 9:48 am

Open fires and stoves are used in lots of houses here in Northern Ireland, so it didn’t take much persuading our landlord!

  • Reply Tim February 14, 2016 at 12:23 am

Ah, toasty! Given how cold our house has been these past couple of days, we could do with a proper fire too.

    • Reply Lauren February 14, 2016 at 9:47 am

It is a great addition to the house, we wouldn’t be without ours!

  • Reply Sara | mumturnedmom February 14, 2016 at 12:29 am

Oh that’s just perfect photo for tonight Lauren,
We’ve had snow today and our wood burner is roaring away but unfortunately I haven’t got any marshmallows.
They’ll be on my shopping list for tomorrow though!
    Have a cozy evening!

    • Reply Lauren February 14, 2016 at 8:49 pm

We haven’t had snow since getting the wood burner in, I would like to get snowed in some evening so we can cosy up in from of the fire for the night! Definitely, get some marshmallows on the shopping list, it was very tasty!
