I know, it is quite the puddle isn’t it?

  • Reply Tim January 17, 2016 at 12:13 am

That looks rather too large and tempting for young ones to resist … 🙂

So the big question: did they go through it?

    • Reply Lauren January 17, 2016 at 7:57 am

Unfortunately not, we’d left our wellies at home!

  • Reply Lisa@intotheglade January 17, 2016 at 12:27 am

Well did they? mine would of, without a doubt! A great picture showing the masses of rainfall we have been getting xx

    • Reply Lauren January 17, 2016 at 9:15 pm

Unfortunately they had no wellies so they decided not to, as inviting as it looked! Yes, we have had quite a bit of rain!x

Wow, that is some puddle! They look like they are considering it carefully 🙂

  • Reply John Adams January 17, 2016 at 6:22 am

Yeah…but what happened next??? My youngest would probably have tried swimming in that. #MySundayPhoto

Brilliant…. but its a story untold, how did they tackle it?

That’s more of a pond than a puddle, did they jump in?

    Thank you for linking up

    • Reply Lauren January 17, 2016 at 4:36 pm

It did look like a small pond, minus the gold fish of course! They didn’t jump in though, we had left the house without our wellies!

That is one massive puddle adventure! Hope the kids enjoyed splashing in them. #MySundayPhoto

    • Reply Lauren January 17, 2016 at 4:30 pm

Unfortunately we weren’t expecting such big puddles and we had no wellies on, it was more of a ‘how do we get around this without getting soaked’ adventure!

  • Reply Emma January 17, 2016 at 10:39 am

My son would love that puddle but there is no way he would be standing still long enough to get a photo before he jumped in it!!

    • Reply Lauren January 17, 2016 at 4:29 pm

It is a pretty awesome puddle, it looked pretty deep too, so would have made for some good splashing!

  • Reply Laura January 17, 2016 at 10:44 am

    Gorgeous! What an inviting puddle!

    • Reply Lauren January 17, 2016 at 4:26 pm

It does look like an inviting puddle doesn’t it, if only we had our wellies!

  • Reply Life as Mum January 17, 2016 at 12:11 pm

Ah this is such a wonderful photo x

      Thanks x

Ekkk, sets me on edge, my two would have been through that in minutes with or without wellies!!

    • Reply Lauren January 17, 2016 at 4:19 pm

The thought of un-wellied children jumping in to a big puddle freaks me out a bit! I wish I was a laid back parent that could say ‘jump on in kids’ but I’m really not!

  • Reply Carolynne @ Mummy Endeavours January 17, 2016 at 2:25 pm

Hehe hope they didn’t go in without their wellies on! x #mysundayphoto

    • Reply Lauren January 17, 2016 at 4:11 pm

They didn’t, thank goodness, my son hates getting dirty so he would have cried the whole way home I think!

  • Reply Kim Carberry January 17, 2016 at 2:44 pm

Eek! My youngest would have been straight in that. lol

    • Reply Lauren January 17, 2016 at 3:52 pm

It does look very inviting doesn’t it?

  • Reply Emma T January 17, 2016 at 8:33 pm

A puddle with great potential. I love the reflection.

  • Reply Louise (Little Hearts, Big Love) January 17, 2016 at 8:39 pm

That is a very inviting puddle – and so big! Love the way the light bounces off the surface and the reflections in the water 🙂
